People come to Elk Creek Ranch for many reasons. For some, the one-on-one challenge of fly fishing the local rivers is the draw. For others, the tranquility of a rustic cabin in a picture-perfect setting - no cell phone, no laptop, no fax machine - speaks peace to their souls.

Whatever your reason, we know you'll find what you came looking for at Elk Creek Ranch. Our staff can help you plan your days' activities, or leave you to soak in the atmosphere on your own. Either way, you'll leave refreshed and renewed, ready to take up the business of life with new vigor.

The Lake

The centerpiece of Elk Creek Ranch is a sparkling,
60-acre natural lake for the private use of our guests
only. We keep Elk Creek Lake stocked with rainbow
trout - and to hone your skills, let our staff arrange for you to attend one of Andre Puyan's Fly Fishing Seminars. Conducted right on site, Andre will coach the beginner or the seasoned veteran who wants to tackle the challenging waters of surrounding area trout streams where the legends are waiting to be caught!

When you're ready to take a break from fishing, just
relax awhile in a canoe or paddle boat on the lake
and take in the beautiful scenery of our mountain retreat.

Yellowstone Park and Beyond

The surrounding area also offers a variety of activities
from horseback riding, river rafting, and canoeing, to
hiking, mountain biking, or riding ATV's. Elk Creek is
just a short, drive from Yellowstone or Harriman State
Park where you can explore some of nature's most
awesome landscapes.

Our staff will be happy to make arrangements for you
to enjoy any of these activities.
